Please take lots of pic's!

Remember to make your cast and then feed all of your fly line out, inorder to give your fly time to sink and get down close to the bottom. Then as your line starts to swing start twiching and hang on. That is the key, be one with the bottom while fishing the Rip.

Great advice Craig, couldn't have said it better. Also, try to find the staging areas where fish tend to hold up in the current. Somedays they are all thru but even on slow days they hold right in front of the standing wave. Best approach on those days is to rotate everyone through.

On those hot days when the whole rip is full of fish such protocols are not necessary.
