Thanks to some behind the scenes efforts by Greg Devereaux, we will be able to hold our first United Fly Tyers of CT meeting on Friday, Dec 10 from 6:30 to 9:30. The meeting will take place at the Gengras Student Union (room G) at the University of Hartford. Driving directions can be found here:

A map of the universtiy can be found here (Gengras Student Union is building 25):

We apologize for the short notice, but the room avaiability was just too good to pass on for December. This initial gathering will be informal, and we plan to set some schedules for further meetings based on the group's desires.

Please bring tying tools and materials for whatever you may want to tie. If you don't have any tools or materials and are just starting out, that's fine. We'll give basic through advanced instruction and get you well on your way. The group is open to any and all skill levels. As we grow, we intend to get guest speakers and vendors at each meeting.

If you can't make it on the 10th of December, bear in mind that we have the same room for the second Friday of each month through April (Jan-14, Feb 11, Mar 11, Apr 8).

If you have any questions, you can ask them here or contact me via PM. This group will be what we make of it, so please feel free to come and get involved.

Bumping this back up, and letting people know that they should use visitor parking spaces. There are plenty in each lot. Please use them, because the university is pretty big on ticketing folks who don't use them.

See you all Friday evening.

UFT in Hartford Tonight

Looking forward to seeing everyone attending our first UFT meeting here in Hartford. We are meeting in room #331 (G) on the thrid floor of the Gengras Student Union at 6:30pm till 9:30pm. Please be sure to locate and park in a visitor parking spot in one of the surrounding parking lots so you won't get ticketed.

See you tonight!

Greg.
