Enrico's Tarpon Crab on a circle hook

OK, so, I saw this and I thought "I could do that."

Here's my question... I am tying with a circle hook that appears to be a little off-set... Is that going to really screw up how it swims?

I hope it is OK to put that link up... I do it to illustrate what I'm going for, not as an attempt to sell anything.

The best thing is to try it. Normally you should test crab flies for how fast they sink but I understand this one should sink very slowly.
Tie one up and the attach it to some leader and drag it through the bath tub, obviously with water in it.
There you will get your answer.

It is always a good idea to test a new crab pattern before use.
