herring are in the Potomac, at least they were before the 5 inches of rain. About 5 more degrees in the Potomac and the bass and herring will arrive. If any fellow cape codders are in the DC area in late March through early May let me know and we can do some striper/shad fishing.

I may well be, either Easter Weekend or Apple Blossom visiting the inlaws.

I was going to hit the Shenendoah NP for brookies, but I may take you up on that :Eyecrazy:

First fisherman arrive too....
While on patrol tonight, I checked Red River beach one last time at 2345hrs and found two guys fishing off the last jetty at the east end of the lot.

"We're all anxious, but a little early boys" :chuckle:

report read: G14 clear investigated, License checked, no action required.
