I just posted a question on tube flies. What prompted me was a recent book called "Shrimp and Spey Flies for Steelhead and Salmon". I read a review at http://globalflyfisher.com/reviews/books/bookbase/show_single.php?id=34. I subsequently bought it and I am very impressed. I do agree with the reviewer wholeheartedly, a very good book at an excellent price.
Check it out for yourselves.

Tom.

PS.I do not know the authors of this book nor do I have any commercial interest in the sale of this book.

i believe i have seen this book, and my opinion differs a little bit.

i have a problem with fly-tying books where the fly plates are drawings and not pictures of the flies. i prefer to see the real thing versus an artist's rendition of the flies.

it's not a bad book though, but one should know that before buying it sight unseen.

i'm pretty sure Waters West in port angeles has this book. the number is (360)417-0937
