I didn't get to take part in the swap:( ...but I've enjoyed very much seeing the variations in the couple that have been posted. I thought I'd share mine...

Thanks

I like to use dubbing mixed with Angel Hare to create a nicely tapered sparkly boddy. Lead wire wrapped almost the entire length of the hook, hackle is tied in tip first, and a second feather is used to create the head.
This is a big one for me, I mostly tie them on a 3x nympth hook. That way I can fish it like a streamer or a nympth without having to make a fly change.

I find that I tie them in variety of weights to suit where I'm fishing. From light to heavy it goes unweighted, glass bead, copper bead, cone head, cone head & lead weight. Most are the middle 3, with the glass bead or copper bead for still water & the cone head for rivers. Angel hair in dubbing has a very nice effect.
