NFB Steering

Anyone attempt the No-feed-back steering rehab? I'm gonna try it this spring. West Marine sells helm units and the info I have seen makes it look relatively easy, ya right! Somehow nothing is ever EASY, you shoulda seen me installing the Trolling tabs. It's like putting together a gas grill for the first time 3-4 hrs. when the instructions say "a 4yr old child can do this in less than 15 min."
I will wait to purchase the unit till I get the boat out of storage to verify the model # and brand of the existing cable. But I could use some advise and even more encouragement for this one!
