Pamola vise

In an effort to ferret out the perfect vise for me I came across references to the Pamola Fly Lathe.

One reviewer called it the absolute best vise on the market.

I found one online catalog that had it for sale @ $275, but, nowhere could I find a picture of this vise.

I'm just starting out and can't justify the $275 but I'd love to see a picture of this vise. The company doesn't seem to have a web site. They are produced in Upton, MA, though.

Anyone?

Do you have any contact info you could PM or email me? I would like to contact them for sponsorship possibilities. Perhaps we could evaluate one for them in our community of avid tyers!

BTW - they look nice.

I bought one ~10 years ago and like it very much. The jaws are now loose due to something stupid I did. I have called several times with no luck on replacement parts. I am not even sure if he still makes them.

Mark I would check out the Dyna King Barracuda. Maybe for that price you could buy it on ebay.
