Atlantic vrs. Pacific Salmon
How do the two stack up?
Would a king salmon from the Atlantic Ocean fight harder or milder at the end of your line, than a king salmon from the Pacific Ocean?
Has any one out there caught the same species in both oceans?
Pound for pound, which salmon gives you the best fight?
I am looking to hook on to a fish that explodes out of the water and makes dynamic runs. I have yet to use my drag in the 22+ years of fly fishing.
Hoping that salmon and steelhead fishing will fill this void.
"Somewhere, over the rainbows. I'll cast my fly...."
