Acklins Island DIY Package

I know we are in the dog days of summer, but some of you may be thinking about your winter or spring DIY trip. Here's our deal on Acklins island, a DIY angler's heaven.

Ivels Acklins DIY Package

$1,480 per person double occupancy. A great deal on Acklins.
With your own truck for the week, you are free to visit the many flats Acklins has to offer, at your discretion, and you can explore Acklins at your own pace.

The do-it-yourself package includes:

*6 1/2 days of DIY fishing
*rental truck for entire stay
*3 meals daily
*Lunch on day of arrival
*breakfast on the day of departure
*Use of kayak
*Daily maid service
*all Airport transfers
*comfortable a/c rooms, wi fi, satellite tv, pure reverse osmosis water system
* central location best for exploring all that Acklins has to offer
*our info package & detailed advice on fishing locations around the island

Ivels is centrally located on Acklins so you can take advantage of flats to the north, middle and southern areas more easily. There are great flats in all of these locations. It's a far drive to come north from Salina Point, and the road is not too good down there.

Ivels is very modern with a reverse osmosis water system, so you get great water out of the taps. The owners also own a food distributorship in Nassau, so they normally do not run out of essentials and food items like other places sometimes do. On top of this, their daughter is married to the guy that owns pineapple air (2 weekly flights to Acklins) and supplies are also brought in on those flights when needed.

The girls who work in the kitchen and run the place are very nice and helpful for guests.

In short I have not found a better run and maintained operation on Acklins. It would be a good operation in the states too!
