Scott,
I have made two trips to Acklins. Once to the north and once to the south. My experience was that the southern flats, esp the ones that you take the boat to, are easier wading for the most part. These are the same flats that require the "death march" to reach without the boat. Providing easy access to these flats is the beauty of Feltons place. There is probably 5 to 6 miles of fishable area there with plenty of hard coral or sand flats.

Great thanks for the info Walt! I wish I could join you in December, but I'll be in Saudi Arabia and London that week.

Just heading down on my own right now. Like I said I needed the fix. If anyone wanted to come along that would be good too.

It looks like one of my buddies wants to go back to Mars Bay and not Acklins, so there will only be 3 of us for Acklins. If anybody wants to come along to avoid the single rate, let me know. We'll be there the 17-24 of March.
