First time fishing in Canada
I have been reading loads of threds and picking up loads of tips. Thanks,
Family and I are taking a holiday in Canmore Canada for two weeks, end of July next year. My brother-in-law has just bought a place out there and is wanting to move over there in the future. So hopefuly I can get out there quite alot.
Anyway for this holiday I want to get out there and stretch some line. I have fly fished for about 20 odd years now, but not to a very high standard. Also I have not been now for about 2 years due to family ties. But I really miss it and want to get back into thee sport I love.
So I have my gear, but was wondering what sort of tackle I will need that might be different to mine? Thinking about getting new rod, line,(ok for reels, because I use them mainly for storage), but if there's a package with reel thrown in, I'll have it. Is there anybody out there that can give me some examples of set-ups please. I will be fishing the Bow and maybe a lake? My budget is up to about $300(can). For whole outfit?
Also, is it worth me buying from over their and then shipping it over here? Any shops or websites would be great?
That's all for now,
