Question 16 foot rods

Hi

I'm new to this Group. I've just purchased a Penn Powergraph Salmon Fly Rod for a snip on e-bay. It's an AFTM 10-12.

I gave it a swing in the garden yesterday and it seems sweet and powerful.

Do any of you guys have experience of using these rods ?
