The first swap flies arrived this weekend....sandyflyx sent some very nice hellgrammite nymphs. Well done!

I can see the smallies fighting over them already.

Two weeks and counting...

The swap deadline is two weeks from today (Valentine's Day).

So far I have flies from sandyflyx and myself. I hope that those tying juices are flowing out there.

Mark,

I've got a couple more shrimp to do for the shrimp swap and then I'll focus on the flies for this swap. Still not sure what I'll tie. Maybe I'll tie (try? :hehe: ) a couple deer hair bass bugs and if they come out good then I'll do some of those.

My shrimp swap flies are ready to ship so now I can concentrate on this one. I have a prototype pattern which I hope to post this week-end which will do double duty for both smallies and their salwater cousins.

Watch this space!

I started mine and boy do I miss my good vise. I'll have to run down Juro & get it back. Either way, the flies will be in on time.

Mark,

Mine are going in the mail right now, I did them last night even with my cold.

Yes I am a few days late, so I will take any cyber FFF perjorative comments on my missing the deadline, but work schedule this week and other fly swap committments got me backed up on this one.

Hal
