There are several companies offereing excellent modern age fiberglass flyrods these days.Winston,Diamondback,Scott, and Lamiglass are but a few.All of these are top of the line rods.I'm not 100% sure which offer them as blanks though.

Lamiglass makes a good selection for very reasonable prices. Anglers Workshop in WA has all of them in stock.

You will be paying serious $ for Winston, Scott and the major manuf. brands.

I like the 6'6" 3wt for small streams and bluegills.

Smile Fiberglass blanks

Steffen Brothers are generally considered to be the best fiberglass rods currently made ( The quality is outstanding and the price is very reasonable, about $120. There have been several discussions about their rods on Clark's Fiberglass Rod forum (, which is where I learned about them (No financial interest.)
I hope this helps. Good luck.

I would consider the Diamondglass rod by Diamondback 1st. Blank $147.
Then Steffens. Blank $120
Lamiglas blanks, may have been discontinued?

There are others, but these are the ones that will sell you a blank.

Lamiglas has them in 6'6", 7', 7'6" and 8' in both 2 and 3 piece models, and they retail for less than $75.00.
