Good News & Bad News

Well it is official, the C&R fisheries will not take place for a second straight year on the Snohomish and the Stilliguamish systems.

On the bright side(eventhough it is a measure being taken due to low returns), all wild steelhead must be released begining Dec 1 on the Skagit, Stilliguamish and Snohomish Rivers.

Thumbs up

Tough to swallow but good news. With those escapement numbers, Kraemer and Castle did the right thing. Of course that C & R fishery on the Skagit is nice too.

Now to just avoid the crowds. Hmm, midnight to 6:00 might work
