St-Jean river today

Hello!

The St-Jean today!!

Upper photos (Just above the bridge of rte 132)
Bottom photos (below the bridge rte. 132)

The road is only open to pool 3 ( Laws)
forgot my waders (to walk to the pools!!) ...

Thought this might light a spark to get your flies ready for the coming season!

Ann

(still alot of snow in the woods to melt!)

DROOL !!!! thank's for posting , Ann
I remember looking downstream back in '78 or so and seeing a huge pod of Smolt getting ready to fire out to sea. 'Niche and a few lakers on a #5 fly rod are my target for May before Salmon in June !!!
Cheers

Clave ?

Hi Ramsey
Looks like quite large # of Two handed rod advocates will be turning up in Gaspe at the same time ! Perhaps a mini Clave at the "cafe des artists" or other watering hole ?
Cheers
Brian
