The total inactivity of this board says something...

mid August -> mid sept with no chatter on this saltwater salmon board.

on my last trip to Neah, after running all over, out to swiftsure etc, we stopped bothering with salmon and had fun with bottom fish.

Chris quit guiding and sold his stuff.

Grim season out there.

Okay...

NZ Trout bum and I went out to Neah Bay and broke camp he towed his camp trailer back to Pugetopolis and I towed his Wahler to my digs here in PA. We did not even attempt to fish out there but we did amuse ourselves in my front yard fishing in my pond! (for bass and trout)
I think this was the worst saltwater salmon fishing that I have ever been involved inbut what do I know I have only been doing this since I was pre kindergarten.Actually I have heard a few rumbles about fair results around Dabob on the approach to the Quilecene. Almost too late for the old "They are Late" theory. Each passing day puts us closer to Spring training for the Lads and next year at Neah Bay. I am looking forward to both but I think I will immerse myself in Steelhead fishing between now and then

...and The King's line over the past two games includes 15 hits, 11 runs, 6 walks and only 9k's. All of which took place in only 10 innings.

In all fairness to the kid the ump made several really key mistakes on 3 strikes and Beltre while not making an error did not make a routine play on a ground ball both situations extended three and out of a jam that got the rally extended into scoring.
But Betnacourt is a jewel that will be great to watch for many years to come if Felix is to be King then Betnacourt must be the Prince.

Franklin & Meche can be the court jesters.

While it is now the time to give up on the Coho run, it is not the time to give up on Felix. In his short time up, he has pitched among the best several games of the M's season. His recovery the other day, when he got in early trouble, was pretty impressive. Tough day for him in Texas though. Hard to sneak a fastball past a team that has 7 jokers with 20+ long balls on the season.

Whats the opinion on Sexon? Everytime I tune into the highlights he's swatting one out.
