What type of line do you use?

In general what type of line do you use ? In the Spring I'll start off with my shooting head. If I get not hits I'll go with the intermidate. On the Flats I like the intermediate.

I prefer a TIGHT line...

The past few seasons I've marched out with a semi-clear AirFlo intermediate (probably because it feels good and casts well)...
If things didn't pan out, or if dealing with moving water, I'd swap spools and go with a 250 sinker...
If that didn't produce, I become very dispondent and return home to watch fly fishing shows on TV and eat ice cream...

This year I'll be making friends with a new CND 11/11 Atlantis and I anticipate several robust shooting heads and a floater to better launch some experimental hampsters!

For most of the situations while wading I stick with my Rio Aqualux Intermediate and once I take the boat out I switch to the 350.

I'd say the majority of my fishing is w/ an intermediate -- but the supersinker can be invaluable depending on conditions.

The floater gets the least amount of use (but on certain wormy evenings it can be DEADLY).....

Everything from floater to teeny 350 - depending on the situation.
When sight fishing, look over your shoulder from time to time, you never know who's behind you

John.....those lines may work for you, but I tried them and I struck out.
When I said "you look familiar, do I know you from someplace?"....my wife said...."we've been married 35 yrs., are you developing Altzheimers?"
Then I said..."it's cold, want to go inside to warm up"...she said....."go in and turn up the thermostat":eyecrazy:
Unless you come up with better lines for my situation, I will stick with my airflo clear intermediate, 10ft fast sinking loops and my airflo super fast (7) sinking lines :hehe:

I fish from a boat in the Kennebec River and use a 450 grain 24' L.L. Bean Teeny-type sinking tip. I like to get the fly down below the boiling fish. I also find that the 450 grain tip works very well when the current is moving along at a good clip.
