Thumbs up CDG...Way Cool!

To me that fly looks mighty fine. I've got to try that in purple.

Awesome!

What method do you use to mount the wings?

method

The method i use is described is shewey's book. I mount the far wing first, holding it flat and using soft loop method (i guess it's called), make one soft loop and then two more loops with increasing tension. Then mount the near wing in the same fashion. This is a very primitive description, a much better one is found in the book.

I have the book but wanted to know which of the two methods described you liked. Have not tried a dee yet but plan to soon. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

VERY nice CDG! Gotta love dem Dees! Speys & Dees are so elegant in their simplicity. They just look "right".

Happy Trails!
