What is it?

There were 5 or 6 of these on the door to the plant I work in about 45 minutes ago. Location ~ 1/4 mile from the blackstone river, on the MA/RI border, size ~ #16, two tails.

That is a Cream/Light Cahill or Stenonema in the spinner stage (Steno's as we call them around here). They can be in sizes 12-16 and hatch throughout the summer months in the northeast. One of my favorite dry flies to use well into dark on a summer evening because it is easily visible and catches big fish that come out after dark.
