what is not reported is that neah bay is likely to be shut down while other ports remain open.... and leave fish on the table.
it is an outrage to go seven days a week where there are no fish, and to continue to say no to transferring any coho up to neah bay to keep us open.
less than 10% of the quota caught in all other ports... i think the framework is broken. the state has the oppotunity to keep one of the finest saltwater fly fisheries in the country open with no negative impact on other ports, but currently is refusing.
