Not so bad. This is not really any pattern in particular. Started out trying to do an orange parson but did not have any yellow hackle or barred lemon duck. So I improvised a little. Mainly just trying to get a hang of things. CharlieD sent me some awesome rangers and I think he has infected me with the feather wing bug...
Nice first attempt at a whole featherwing. I would have made the jungle cock much shorter though if only using it as a side to not more than half the wing length because to my eye it better ballances a fly.
P.S. Your heads have come a long way since last year.
It ought to be very good for winter steelhead. Instead of using a kingfisher cheek, an Indian Crow feather or substitute would be more in harmony with the coloration of the fly because of its orangish-red color.
Glad you liked the ones I sent. And yours is fantastic, I especially like the way you matched up the GP crests. The over all proportions on this fly are great. Let us know when you get a fish on it.
