There are several companies offereing excellent modern age fiberglass flyrods these days.Winston,Diamondback,Scott, and Lamiglass are but a few.All of these are top of the line rods.I'm not 100% sure which offer them as blanks though.
Hi,
Steffen Brothers are generally considered to be the best fiberglass rods currently made (steffenbrothersflyrods.com). The quality is outstanding and the price is very reasonable, about $120. There have been several discussions about their rods on Clark's Fiberglass Rod forum (http://p205.ezboard.com/bglassflyrodshopforum), which is where I learned about them (No financial interest.)
I hope this helps. Good luck.
Jack
Lamiglas has them in 6'6", 7', 7'6" and 8' in both 2 and 3 piece models, and they retail for less than $75.00.
