Weather and The Thaw!

Finally! After starting Friday at 8 degrees and snow, we have had a few days of 50s and 60s here in the southern Lake O. shores.
The tribs are high, muddy and cold with snow-melt runoff, but THIS should start some major runs. I have to take my wife on vacation for a few days, but you can bet I'll be back trib fishing as soon as I get back!

Maybe by then I will be able to see if I still have a lawn under this white stuff! Hope the rest of the lakes and tribs are doing well!

I'll to battle with a 5wt for them on streams. On the flats, a 6wt is perfect....they fight well on light tackle.

You know where I stand Hal, bring out the 12' 5wt....perfect smallie rod on some river situations.
