What do you guys and or gals use to color tint 5 minute epoxy? If I told you what type of fly I need an expoxy color tint for, I'd be laughed out of the forum.....so, that shall remain a secret unless the thing catches a fish and then I will share. :smokin:

Ron get a small bottle of model airplane paint at the hobby store. Use only a small drop of the stuff to tint the expoy. I'm with Ken on this, you will be banned.:chuckle: Your not trying a MOE by any chance? FishHawk
Thanks Ken and Bill for your "support" The first time I use this planned creation, you will know......I will be the guy wearing a mask and a trench coat on the flats, instead of waders :lildevl:
And by the way Ken......"It" is going to be small , unlike my regular flies that you say scare away your fish when we are fishing together
Ron
Ron, I use some of the colouring my wife uses for cake decoration, go for the ones loaded with E numbers, they provide a really deep colour and you only need the smallest drop. The natural (non-additive) ones are not so good for tinting epoxy.
Thanks Jamie and Jared as well....advice very appreciated....and just thinking....how many times can one ask for assistance and receive it from across the sea? Hope to see you both on the flats and I promise not to ding you with my new creation on my backcast
