As many of you are aware the public testimony
hearing regarding the two-year moratorium on the
intentional harvest of wild steelhead is scheduled for
this Saturday, August 28, in Bremerton, WA. The
meeting is at the Kitsap Convention Center which is
very near the Bremerton ferry terminal and is within
walking distance. Ferries leave from Seattle at 7:35
and 8:45 and the ride is about 45 minutes. The meeting
starts at 10:00 AM.

If there is one thing you can do to support and help
wild steelhead is to take some time and travel to make the testimony. The numbers of people who attend will count! So if you can do one thing for the year this is it!

I will be there and please feel free to introduce yourself and say hi!

I sent an email and wrote them a letter.

Depending on how you look at it, unfortunately or fortunately, I am working in Alaska until the 1st and will more then likely be chasing silvers and rainbows on the Kenai the 28th. At any rate I do regret I will miss this meeting.

Give 'em hell for me.

Kerry

Oh, by the way, I talked to plunker a few weeks ago and he said he wouldn't be there. You out there plunk? Still not going?

Sorry Folks

Kerry's correct.

The drive and ferry ride are more than I care to deal with. My opinion has been sent by mail and repeating it before the commission will probably not make it a lot more significant.

Now if JJ, Sinktip and Todd were to offer a free ride...

went to major part of testamony today.I thank everyone who spoke in favor of wild steelhead release.Thank you guys for taking the time to take on this effort.a lot of you did a great job in representing my thoughts.I took my 21 yr old son along. He did not understand why all that talk was even necessary. the case for release is a no brainer to him.no need for discussion!Beau
