I have a two peice fly rod, and I cannot for the life of me get the two peices apart! I've had several different people try. I tried putting some detergent around the connectors, but that did not do. Any other ideas?
Put the ice on it as Juro suggests. Then get yourself some of the rubber type shelf liner ( Wal Mart) cut two pieces off about 4" square grip the rod and twist. You wont believe the power you can apply with the shelf liner. My choice on the shelf liner is the thin type. One is a thicker waffle style the other is kind of a lace pattern.
Actually I put WD-40 on it and it popped right off..Thanks though.
