English Introduction

Hello everyone out there. My name's Steve Skidmore and I have similar job to Juro. I.E. You have to work in order to be able to go fishing, and IT just happens to be that engine!

I hope I can contribute a UK flavour and answer any questions you may have out there regarding this side of the Atlantic. I know quite a few big name contacts that can answer queries that I cannot.

My own fishing tastes are based around game fish (in the UK game fish are all the spotted ones, i.e. Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow & our own Brown Trout and Grayling) - 90% on the fly, but other types of fishing for Salmon is widely adopted in England. I have fished for 6oz Brownies in tiny streams on size 22 hooks, to Loch Style competition fishing for Rainbow trout, to double-figure Rainbow stalking, to fly fishing/worm/shrimp/spinning for Salmon.

I look forward to conversing with you all on this great new site.

tight lines
