introduction

Hello-Ron Lomas here. I've only been flyfishing the salt for about 6 yrs. and fresh for about 2yrs before that. I always preferred saltwater fishing having grown up 100yds for the Kickemuit River in Warren, R.I. Presently work as a chemical operator(night Shift) and fish everychance I get. Mostly from shore on the East Bay Sakonnet and Westport(out front). Largest fly caught striper- 45" @ 35lbs. on a nigght when there were witnesses and we had all been catching schoolies. In fact the schoolies were so thick you could walk across them to the Canal and mine was the only keeper. I tie all my own flies so if anybody wants help in that area maybe we can get together. Patterns don't matter I can usuallly figure them out with a recipe and good picture.
