inexpensive, quality capes

Keough's Tyer's Grade Capes are about the best deal I have seen in quite a while. They will allow you to tie numerous flies down to about a 24 or maybe a little smaller. The necks are available in 9 popular colors and have feathers that have supple quills and stiff barbules....and they retail for 20 bucks. In my opinion, they are somehwere between a grade 2 and 3 and closer to the 2. Some may argue with that.

The vast majority of the trout flies I have tied and continue to tie are sizes 12-16 and these capes offer an outstanding value for hackles in that size range given the quantity of feathers on the skin.
