I think the 'Straits' are calling you...

Taken from Thursday's Seattle Times...

Added Doug Milward, state Fish and Wildlife's head salmon resource manager: "The coho (at Westport) averaged 4 pounds, which are big for this time of the year, and the chinook ran about 10 pounds, with some big honkers in the catches as well. When we start getting into July and August, those coho are going to be huge."

And while you are knocking one coho after another with a can drop a big Sea Habit down for a big 'nook!!

For the first time in a decade, chinook fishing runs July 1-31 in the western Strait of Juan de Fuca at Neah Bay from Tatoosh Island east to Sail Rock. Anglers in this area are allowed to keep a chinook whether it is marked or unmarked. For best results, hit the incoming tide around Mushroom Rock, Slant Rock and Waadah Island.

Maybe you will have to personally deliver our next CND order!!
