Question LL Bean Classic L rods

Trying to look beyond the Sage and Orvis offerings in trout rods, I found what appears to be a nice rod from LL Bean. In particular, I am looking at their 9' 5wt. Classic L for stillwater trout fishing.

What little I know of "Bean" is from a purchase of gore-tex sleeping bag covers (first-rate quality) and a sterling reputation - third person. As to the rod, it is made by GLoomis to "Bean's" specs and is quite attractive in appearance (soothes my superficial side).

Because test casting is difficult due to distance, I would appreciate whatever info our members have on this rod and the LL Bean Company policy/support.

P.S. [Should have added] I will be primarily fishing beadhead and weighted nymphs with a floating or intermediate sinktip line.
