RE:fly fishing in Bonsia

Richard:
Okay... I checked out my old data base (the one I haven't updated in almost 10 years!), and found an article on fishing Slovenia in the March '91 issue of Fly Rod & Reel. Okay, so it's not Serbia but considering Yugoslavia is slightly larger than Wyoming... Btw, I know I have seen other article(s) because this one is not the one I had in mind. I don't know if you can find that copy. In any case, you're looking to catch brown and marble trout, and grayling and river charr (hucho hucho). The article says the rivers are rich with mayflies, caddisflies, stoneflies and midges... some help! A couple of the photos in the piece show beautiful mountain streams. I hope this helps a bit.
