Problem with Catt....
Catt is a great fall-run creek (advantage of no salmon to speak of, as well!) But in spring, it just seems to stay high and muddy as well, bordering on "forever". Also, if you ever go there, buy a reservation permit - most of the land is Indian owned! If you like high, muddy water, fish the Genny! Less hassle, and you will save a couple of hours of driving time.
Naw... stick to Sandy, Oak, etc. I think they are the little jewels of Lake O. fishing, even though I hate the crowds.
(Did you REALLY hire a guide to fish Sandy? Man, that stream's a piece of cake!) I got a 20 lb. brown there last fall - maybe I should have had a guide - I forgot the damned camera!
