I suspect I've subconsciously cloned a chum salmon equal rights plea from the memory of the many you've articulated in the past... hopefully I didn't use the same title as one of your posts but thinking back it does have a familiar ring to it! dOh! Oh well, I find it harder to keep track each year - blame it on shades of early of alzheimers.

You've encountered chum in Alaska as well as the mainland... I've heard that chum vary radically in average size from region to region - do you find this to be true?
