John, I did not know that BWOs got that small. It looks a lot like a trico spinner that I tie in cream and black. I make the wing sparse and even longer. It is very easy to grab a natural and trim the wing on the stream. One other thing that I have noticed is that the tails on small bugs are very fine indeed. Often you will even find them broken off or bent. I do not tie tails on flies that small, if the trout does not mind a hook coming out of the flies ass he probably is not counting tails.
