The N. Fork of the Stilly is still open and if not blown out can produce some good fishing in May. Right now it is blown but if the rains cease and the weather stays cool, it would be worth the trip up. You might check with DoubleSpey as I know he has fished this river more than I have but if it was me, I would try the area around Cicero (assuming it isn't choclate colored). If it is, run up around Hazel.
