Hal I have never caught a big winter native steelhead ,only summer runs, so I cannot compare but I would rate the small tarpon to a pacific coho with more stamina. The aerial displays were amazing to say the least. This one did a lot of rollling on the line like a coho would. Tarpon, at least the one I caught , are a very tough fish and cannot imagine one over 100 pounds.....

Will definitely have to hook up with Ben in May some year to take on the silver kings.

Juro next winter we should go down for a loooong weekend.
