Good thing you had the mangrove edition of the reel eel :hehe: Where was Lolita when you needed her? Sorry the winds kicked up on you guys, that can kill flats fishing in a heartbeat - we know all about that up on the northern flats.
Looking forward to having Ben's Florida Keys insights in the FORUM in the days to come!
My three visits there were just a tease - I need to spend much more time down there in the future. I remember taking a morning off fishing to have a real breakfast before heading back. I went to a bistro in Key West not far from Jefferey Cardenas' shop. I am sitting there having fresh squeezed juice when a noisy flock of wild parrots comes over and hangs out in the trees around the patio. The entire region is an expanse of fishy flats with a few dry spots you can live on, and plenty of Key Lime Pie made with real key limes, of course. Awesome.
