Invented by James Ogden of Cheltenham Gloucestershire, this is an old pattern which works really well on both lakes and rivers when sedge are hatching. Dressing is as follows:

Body - Golden Olive seals fur ribbed with flat gold tinsel
Body Hackle - Natural red cock hackle palmered
Shoulder Hackle - Red Cock with a beard of blue jay
Wing - Hen Pheasant primary folded
Tail - Golden pheasant crest

The swap fly was tied on a size 12.
