Ralph's Hackled Epoxy Bonefish Fly

Location's are the Keys, Yucatan, Christmas Island and the Caribbean..... Hook- 2, 4, or 6....... Thread- White..... Eyes- Medium Bead chain...... Tail- Tan Marabou, tied short and full... Body- Wind white yarn, saturated with cement and form body as shown.. sort of triangular egg shape..... Then cover with pearl braid and flatten body horizontally ,darken top..... Hackle- grizzly saddle...... Coating- Coat body with cement (It calls for zap-a-gap but I don't use or need that), palmer hackle forward and trim on bottom (fly rides hook up) and coat entire fly with Epoxy... carefully, not ton's of it..... More detail's in Brown's book and designed by Ralph Woodbine.
