Ok, give us the scoop on the the tippet. Actually I fish flourostuff on the Sauk for the first time and was really impressed with the strength (12lb). Do you think the tippet got knicked or scuffed? I was thinking of buying a 100m spool of 10 or 12lb. I read the knot holding qualities are suspect for certain loops, clinch, and bloods.

You've added a new element to the thought process. What manufacturer were you using?
