RE:Offseason Primer

Good idea!

Of course the tying theme has been explosive over the last two winters, great stuff for off season. I don't know how many guys entered the ways of the roadkill second-glancers club over the last 12 months.

Mike -

Bob's boat is su-weeet for PI, as long as you stay within the jetties at the mouth (Bob may disagree?). Of course there are many days when a 16 footer could venture out but one should consider tides, weather, and navigational hazards. These things are not static of course so an easy ride out means nothing with respect to the ride back in.

Inside the jetties a boat like his is the nuts. It runs the channel over to the Ipswich side beautifully and takes the outside beaches very well too. It runs around Joppa like a magic carpet ride and floats over the shoals of feeding bass between the charter boats and the launch like a dream.

He got it from George Rohan at South Bridge Boathouse in Concord MA, George is a great guy and the kind of guy you want to give business to. Chris Mountain also bought one from him. They aren't Grady White's but at a fraction of the cost they are a tremendous value.
