Sage's 10151-4 (not the 10150-4), although a very sweet rod seem to have breakage issues when cast with long belly lines. Dana mentioned that he has been informed that the Sage designers throw the Wincutter/Kinney/Lemire style lines. I believe on this cast I tried to force too much cast with too great an anchor,(AKA I was pumped from the fish and jerked the cast).

I was throwing a DT11 with 15' wacked off the front with a looped 12' piece of type 4. I love the rod although, I'm losing confidence in the design.

The first break occured in the Butt section and Sage replace both the butt and the second section, now with the break in the third section, it will be a new rod.
