Orvis rods

X minor
I own 3 Orvis rods.
Two silver labels (1-wt & 9-wt) and one Orvis Spring Creek (1980 vintage) (5-wt)
The 9'3" Spring creek is over twenty years old and it cast like new, I have landed everything from creek chubs (black nose dace) to northern pike with it.
My silver label's are less than a year old, I got the 8'0" 1-wt for small streams and I landed a 15 inch small-mouth on it with ease.
The 9'8" silver label 9-wt I got for steelheads and salmon fishing and landed a 33" 18 pound salmon with it on the first day.

I have Orvis large arbor reels for all three rods and found them to be a wonderful addition to my fishing arsenal.

Bottom line, the Orvis rod has not failed me yet, I highly recommend them.
