Did you target the permit or just come up on them and have them take a bonefish fly?
What flies on the permit?
<cough cough> note I posted the sizes of the bones but not the permit. Let's just say they were less than impressive. But still the first permit of my life.

I was targeting a couple of big bones and the permit that were following them ate the flies before the bones could get them.
My passion for catching fish is eclipsed only by the fish's passion not to be caught.
