Fish have cut thru the canal and are showing on the bayside flats. South side numbers increasing, Stage (outside) packed with billions of silversides.
Last night birds were whirling from Strong Island to Andrew Hardings Beach, LOTS of birds but I was not fishing. I will be Sat AM and will report what I find. This morning - not a bird in sight. Whatever it was had turned the corner around the rip.
My guess is that it will be a roll of the migratory dice down there, while early for resident cyclic feeding it could just as easily be in the passing lane on the migratory highway.
I'll be away that week for family events so decided to opt out but I hope it's the latter.
