Guided a fellow yesterday morning who was using a 7wt Shark skin. I played with it a little and felt it to be a decent casting line but the vibration and noise from the thing was extremely irritating. While it was a great casting line(very slick) I don't think was any better than Rio's Slick Shooter, Cortlands Lazer(well,, maybe)etc.
Not sure but i would think this line would trap a lot of dirt too,, making it more work to maintain than a normal line,, and at $100 ,, you gotta be kidding?
To each his own but personally i was not impressed and actually put off by the thing as it is too noisy and again my opinion,, over priced.
Honestly i have never found one premium line to have better mending qualities than another
