on my first trip to grand bahama 4 years ago i had a large bone on the line and it was taking a long time getting it in. a few sharks began going after it. the guide threw conk shells at them to keep them away. finally one of the sharks made a b-line at full speed toward the bone. the guide, was about 30 or 40 feet from the point of intersection. without hesitation he ran head on at full speed at the on comming shark and jumped right on its head. i was freaked out. but josko's story and solution is accurate near as i can see.
